Onyx Home Improvement did a great job helping us turn our heavily cracking asphalt/concrete driveway into a wonderful new look and feel. We replaced all of the driveway with concrete, widened it out to allow for better access/parking, and added a beautiful side wall. We also replaced our old brick walkway with new pavers, and carried the pavers up through the porch area. Michael had great suggestions to improve the overall look, and both Michael and John communicated exceptionally well. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing to do similar work!

Onyx Home Improvements performed work on several driveways, walks, and patios in my neighborhood in March 2025. They removed a large shared asphalt driveway that was sinking in places and repaired the base packing different layers of stones before repaving with new asphalt. The job was done beautifully. I had two old red brick patios that were lifted by tree roots and sunk from erosion redone. Michael suggested using a half herringbone brick pattern and filling the joints with polymeric sand. The mason did a superior job. I also love the soldier course around the perimeter. One area in the lowest part of my yard was prone to growing moss. This section was dug out a couple of feet and filled with layers of different size stones before finishing with gray permeable pavers. I am very happy with all of the work. I highly recommend them.

I hired Onyx Home Improvements to complete a step installation on my porch. It turns out the ENTIRE structure had to be rebuilt! Onyx rebuilt my porch - and they did a better job than when it was first built 20 years ago. The work was completed professionally and they did a truly outstanding job. Also, Mike and John Cash were easy to reach and responsive to my questions. I’m thrilled with the quality of the work, and how very considerate their workers were of my property. What is even more amazing is that although the scope of the work increased, they honored the original quote. Thank you Onyx, I will happily hire you again!
